Accounts, access & contact

Most of the portal is open and needs no account. A few features connect you to the team or to the reserved area.

Subscribe from the Newsletter button in the top bar or the contact section of the home page to receive project updates. The form submits directly (with spam protection); you'll see an on-page confirmation.

Contact

The Contact section (home page) sends a message to the project team. As with every public form it is protected against spam and rate-limited; no login is needed.

Requesting simulator access

Running live fire-spread simulations is reserved for approved users. From the Simulator page you can request access; the request reaches the team, who follow up. This keeps the compute-heavy engine available to operators and partners.

The Operational login button leads to the reserved cockpit for control-room operators, firekeepers, planners and partner agencies. If you don't have an account, the login page links to a sign-up flow whose requests go through an approval queue. What the cockpit can do is documented in the Operator guide.

Privacy

The portal is designed to respect your privacy:

Anonymised visit counting. Page views are counted in aggregate, with no personal data and no cross-site tracking. The counter cannot identify you.
No account to browse. Every public page — live data, the 3D twin, the history record — works without logging in.
Forms. The contact, newsletter and access-request forms collect only what you type, to reply to you; they are CSRF-protected and rate-limited.
Cookies. A small cookie remembers your language and dark-mode choice. See the Privacy and Cookie policy links in the footer.
