Fire Weather Index — how to read it

The KFWI rates daily wildfire risk from the weather and a machine-learning ignition model. On the Karst, even low index values can carry real risk — which is exactly why a locally-calibrated index matters.

ML risk model — how to read it

Each grid cell is classified by the machine-learning ignition-risk model into a Low / Moderate / High alert. These are the same cells counted in the "Alert levels" panel; within each class the shade deepens with the model score.
